Stu Grover is a technologist and entrepreneur. Whilst sitting in a post grad class at the International Space University in early 2012 Stu Grover was first introduced to the idea that replacement parts could be "printed" on demand in Zero G. As a technologist and entrepreneur this concept fascinated him and he simply had to find out more. Two years on he is the owner and founder of 3D Printing Studios which is a network of high street shops setup to increase awareness of 3D Printing amongst everyday people. Stu sees a future in which 3D Printing is as much a part of our lives as computers are today but not quite so intimate.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
