This video follows the one on Change Configuration, which would probably be best seen before this one.
When an issue occurs in a project we need to respond to it right away and track it. As an issue is likely to, but not always, have an impact on the current state of "things" we need to make sure that we have these "things" under version control. Hence Change Configuration.
Issues come in three main "flavours"
Request for a change
- both of which impact on scope - (adding, redefining, removing), this will mean change to a host of documents and the project scope itself
Anything else - concern, problem suggestion: (any of these which also may ultimately have an impact on one or more items of the scope and/or project documents)
The Issue/Change procedure guides us through handling the Issue and its proposed solution/impact in a controlled manner
The video takes you thought that "pathway" and explains Why the step, What happens and How it is used.
This video, along with the "Change Configuration" forms part of a complete course that offers a "Certificate of Completion" at the end.
