Quantum proudly present's the first official single from rising talent Virtual Riot in the form of 'Superhuman' featuring vocals from Amba Shepherd, as well as a unique chill out mix from Titchimoto.

You would never guess that Virtual Riot, hailing from Germany, is only 17 years old after hearing his productions. Combining aggressive club based beats with radio friendly vocals and arrangement, the young musician simply creates entertaining music without getting 'stuck in the box' that so many others in the genre seem to do.

Superhuman is exactly that. The Original Mix lets a gentle piano leads the way comfortably without ever seeming to clash with the spiralling bass and synth stabs. Amba Shepherd, formerly laying vocals for OWLSA and Skrillex label-mate Porter Robinson, contributes with arguably some of her best work yet. Her eloquent voice drifts almost dreamlike over the melee surrounding it, creating a contrasting yet fully immersive mix that is easy to close your eyes and get lost in. The Club Mix up's the agro with emphasis on the twisting basslines and edited vocals, this is certainly one for the DJ's.

Not content with that, Virtual Riot also includes an instrumental mix as well as Amba Shepherd's accapella, perfect for those wishing to give it their own production take.

Just because Quantum likes to push boundaries, the package also includes something a bit special. How many Dubstep releases can say they include a more relaxed take on it all? Titchimoto, an R&B producer from Leeds, lends his hand to create a very unique chillout and ambient mix. Gentle clicks replace drums, bass drops away to mellow tones and those beautiful vocals are really given their chance to shine. There's even an electric guitar. Put the headphones on, turn the lights off and really let this remix take you on a journey. All that's missing on this is a verse from Drake...

Keep an eye on Virtual Riot and Quantum throughout 2012. Special things are certain to happen.
