Landscape was a British band, best known for the 1981 hits, "Einstein A Go-Go" and "Norman Bates". Formed in 1974, they toured constantly during the mid- to late-1970s, playing rock, punk and jazz venues and releasing two instrumental EPs on their own Event Horizon label. They began experimenting with computer programmed music and electronic drums in the late 1970s and early 1980s making records in the emerging genre of synthpop.

The video, directed by Brian Grant, was the ultimate movie homage, a tribute to Alfred Hitchcocks classic film "Psycho". Shot at a an old mansion in Sussex, England, the video is a collection of scenarios depicting well known moments from the film. The woman portraying Janet Leigh, the star of the movie, is played in the video by Pamela Stephenson, one of the stars of eighties comedy show "Not The Nine O'clock News" and wife of comedian Billy Connolly.
