Without further delay, here's the tribute to Haiti.
Since I'm a horrible singer, I decided to have my friend do it.
Y'all gotta' listen to this one.

[Verse 1]
They wake up in the morning with the lighting in their eyes,
Beautiful, dutiful, even to their parents' eyes.
The laughter is there in every aspect of their lives,
Families live happily with no sense of insanity.
No damage, no enemies, the good life? It has to be.
It's paradise to them but to us it's poverty.
No matter what occurs, they stay standing that's their word,
But it's sad how we come first is that why they're called a third (world country) ?
The people are vulnerable, soldiers are honorable,
Livin' on a piece of land where defenses are vulnerable.
People have to stop ignoring, closing their eyelids,
Provide our support to Heavenly Angels In The Island.

[Chorus]
Look up and see that we are here,
To help you persevere.
And after every shock, after every block,
You still have more than what you got.

Just hold on, hold on. x2.

[Verse 2]
It started on the twelveth of the first, of the ten .
The year had just began and nature hit our friends, no intent.
The magnitude hit deep with an attitude fit ,
Magic number seven already 'caused adequate hits,
To leave it in destruction such emotional eruption.
Fledgling kids with wooden plank cribs forced to reconstruction,
But who woulda' figured that it was only the introduction,
Give 'em something, a sense of relief instead of nothing.

[Chorus]
Look up and see that we are here,
To help you persevere.
And after every shock, after every block,
You still have more than what you got.

Just hold on, hold on. x2.

[Verse 3]
We gotta' act in samaritan ways, humanitarian aid,
Give 'em the necessities so they can go on with the day.
Shelter them from harm, embrace the kids between your arms,
Spare your time to find the goodness in your heart to supply them for a cause.
All they need is a helping hand, to them our voice is already grand,
A can of food is worth more than the wealth of the richest man.
Our mission is to recondition the damage that's been inflicted,
They need recognition, we need to provide them with a better finish.

[Chorus]
Look up and see that we are here,
To help you persevere.
And after every shock, after every block,
You still have more than what you got.

Just hold on, hold on. x2.
