The fruits and vegetable paintings of Catharina Klein are among her most amazing and greatly admired works. Few people have ever been able to capture the translucent qualities of fruit like she could! Her ability to use light and her sense of composition were extraordinary. This video will be fifteen minutes of pure joy to those new to her work and to those postcard enthusiasts who have treasured her cards over the years. Most of her 2300 paintings are believed to have been destroyed in WWII.
