Allstate Agent Lisa Clemente from Ballwin, MO joined teens, parents, law enforcement and others for a Family Driving Challenge event in St. Louis, Missouri. Local teens and their parents got behind the wheel on a special course to demonstrate the difficulties of driving while distracted and learned about the dangers of texting and talking while driving.
Car crashes are the number one killer of teens in America causing far more teen deaths than drugs, illness, violence or suicide. According to research from The Allstate Foundation, parents are the number one influence on their teens when it comes to learning to drive.
That's why Allstate is committed to help keep them safe with tools, tips from experts, and information for parents of teen drivers to start that important conversation about teen driver safety. Talking with your teen about rules of the road may not necessarily be easy, but it is important.
