Fans gathered inside the Baltimore-Washington International Airport on Monday to welcome Spain's 23-man 2014 FIFA World Cup Squad. A number of stars, including Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, Chelsea striker Fernando Torres and newly signed New York City FC forward David Villa stopped to sign autographs for fans.

Spain, affectionately nicknamed La Roja by their faithful fans, warm-up for their World Cup campaign against El Salvador on Saturday 7 in Washington's RFK Stadium. They are joined by the Netherlands, Chile, and Australia in Group B of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and kick-off the competition on June 13 against the Dutch.

As reigning World Cup and European champions, Spain are ranked as the best team in the world by FIFA.
