This steam engine is an oldie but goodie. Look at the torque of this engine at 10 psi. It will run on 30-40 psi steam from the Lynx Monotube boiler. It is a 200 watt generator. The alternator is a permanent magnet alternator, 3 phase, 16 awg 65 turn design. The alt is a 500 watt design so should run very efficiently at 200 watts. Because this configuration is a low rpm design, steam consumption will be low. The diaphram pump shuts off automatically when the solenoid is closed to the boiler. When water runs low the solenoid opens and has a 5 second delay when the sensor senses full.
