In 1935 Royal Enfield produced the three wheel Motor Carrier. The vehicle was intended to provide an inexpensive method of transport for a variety of traders: department stores, builders, drapers, butchers, bakers, grocers and the Post Office among many others. The design dates back to the AC-made 'Warrick Carrier' of 1914!
Three-wheelers of this type were the first cars to be made. This one owned by Hitchcocks Motorcycles is believed to one of only 3 working examples in existence in the world. Road test by motorcycle journalist Roy Poynting - always up for a challenge!
