Our machine is designed to take the mango cheeks cut from the seed by hand. The machine peels to give whole mango cheeks, and optionally, slices into either concentric cups or 12mm wide slices, in the same operation. This ensures consistent quality with minimal handling. A manual de-seed , manual feed to a single peeler slicer the expected continuous production rate would be 30 to 40 cheeks per minute. (160 to 210 kg/hr based on 400g fruit and 45% yield) The concentric cups are of the same thickness and are dried in Australia using an efficient, heat pump dryer to retain flavour and colour with no added preservatives or sugar. (see attached picture) We work with a heat pump dryer manufacturer here in Brisbane if you are interested. The slices are canned or frozen for fruit salad. The whole cheeks are frozen before distribution.
We manufacture the peeler, cupper, slicer here in Brisbane. We can manufacture to suit 240V, 50 Hz or 110V, 60Hz electrical power supply.
