This week May 5th, 2012, we find the Full Moon in Scorpio. The New Moon, First quarter, Full Moon and Last Quarter Moon have been used for weather forecasting for over 5,000 years. In the earliest times, the Moon sign was far more important than today's Sun signs. As the Moon tends to pull the water tides, so does it pull the Air Tides as well as raising the earth's surface by 16 inches when the Moon is directly overhead. All in all, we find the Moon reflecting the planet's atmospheric influence whenever the Moon transits from the southern to northern hemisphere and vice versa. If the Moon has that much power it stands to reason that, as the adult human body is on average 50 to 65 percent water - roughly 45 quarts, the Moon would exert an influence on humankind as well.
