The Google Plus Commenting systems are now part of YouTube. Sometimes you just can't reply to a comment... Why? There are many things that can be done with the GooTube combination. http://www.google.com/+RonnieBincer Check out this short snippet from a HOA Discussion we just had on the topic.

The Change in the commenting system on YouTube took a lot of people by surprise. Now you must have a Google+ account in order to make comments on YouTube. This segment helps you understand why you may not be able to comment at times and what you can do about it. Watch the entire conversation with Myself and Steven Washer here: http://goo.gl/virtuV

Here's a link to a quick video that talks about what happens when you comment now: http://youtu.be/Hu-TFF-v3vk

10 minutes ago I commented on a video. 5 minutes ago someone else replied to my comment. I went to reply back to him, and I am unable to. I can type out my message, but the green/blue "Reply" button is greyed out, unable to be clicked, thus making it impossible for me to submit the reply. WHY???? Other people are continuing to reply on the thread, but for some reason I am locked out? It is my own thread that I started?

At least the word used (workaround) was honest, because it´s not a really convenient solution in comparison to simply clicking the reply button at you tube comment section. Every time I reply to anyone´s comment it always appears as if I especifically replied to the OP, which is not the case and leads to confusion of other users. It´s amazing that one CAN´T change that simply by modifying options. With the removal of the thumbs down option I can at least understand that You Tube would want to minimize any quarrels that might indirectly legally or morally compromise them, so I can relate to that. But as far as the simplicity and practicality of the replies to non-OP users is concerned, I can only scratch my head as to why things have to be SO complicated. Cheers.

Ok this is a big problem for me. I am using an ipad and I used to be able to view and reply to comments on google plus. Now I can't see the comments and it forces me to go to YouTube... Why ?
