In this clip, Paul Jacobs offers his last words on the U.S. and the hazards of nuclear energy.
"Paul Jacobs and the Nuclear Gang" is a 1978 film by Saul Landau (Institute for Policy Studies Fellow), Jack Willis and Penny Bernstein. It profiles the eponymous journalist and political activist who exposed the U.S. government's cover-up of the health hazards from low-level radiation, chronicling this scandal from atomic fallout contamination of soldiers during early tests in the 1950s and 60s to problems facing nuclear industry workers today.
This film is especially timely given the unfolding Japanese nuclear crisis at Fukushima.
