Destino dates from a late 1940s collaboration between Walt Disney and Salvador Dali that was abandoned then resurrected 56 years later. About seven minutes in length and set to a Spanish ballad by Armando Dominguez, Destino is about love lost and rediscovered, full of surreal transformations. Animated by Dominique Monfery at Disney's Paris studio, the short features five original Dali paintings as backgrounds. Unlike the other video available on youtube, this one contains the original soundtrack to the movie. Initial FBI warnings wich were embedded on the main feature were not removed. Enjoy!
