Gobi is based on extremly slowed down and granularised material from the much later released Polaroid track. The original recording of the session is more then two hours. The most difficult decission when finishing this piece was finding the right duration and mix of excerpts from that session. Gobi became the most successful monolake record ever. When we released it I expected it to sell less then 1000 copies. We sold much more. Produced by Robert Henke and Gerhard Behles at Studio Charlottenburg.
