Read or listen to the news about "Euroshit" ....Wolkswagen cheated on it , the EPA caught them red handed , they will have to pay enormus fines , recall a lot of vehicles , customers are going to sue them for lying on the quality of theirs engines .

and your neighborhood is now mosquito free!
The engine must have been very happy of all those kicks to the gas pedal right after a cold start after having been stopped for 10 years.

It needs a new set of spark plugs. You say it doesn't have spark plugs. Exactly, that's why it needs em'.

squach623 !!!!!
+ERVMEDVAC this old and large don't have glow plugs! God save of from these damn kids who get a diesel pickup and read a copy of diesel power and think they know all about them!!!! Glow plugs were put in smaller displacement automotive type engines that weren't big enough to crank it out and start cold!

+ERVMEDVAC  a lot of diesel cars dont have even glow plugs (for instance have you ever heard about Tatra engines? direct injection without glow plugs.

If that thing I see near the engine is a turbo, then that's not a 220 cummins but a 262 ;)
