Explore the ancient Roma in 3D. Through Virtual reality or your Desktop.
Colosseum VR is an educational experience that will let you explore the ancient Roma as it was in its brightest days through virtual reality. We believe that virtual reality can offer considerable benefits to education and we want to be a part of that.
We added a lot of things in the full version, here is a non-exhaustive list of the new elements:
- Free navigation in the ancient Roma.
- Explore the Temple of Venus, the Elagabalium, the Colossus of Nero or The Arch of Constantine and the inside of the Colosseum
- We generated 3D gladiator fights inside the Colosseum.
- We generated the first version of the Palatine Hill and added the Elagabalium on top of it.
The construction of the Colosseum began under the rule of the Emperor Vespasian in around 70–72 AD, funded by the spoils taken from the Jewish Temple after the Siege of Jerusalem. The Colosseum had been completed up to the third story by the time of Vespasian's death in 79. The top level was finished and the building inaugurated by his son, Titus, in 80.
Our goal is to bring you back to those days to let you experience the thrill of being surrounded by 55.000 romans watching your brave fight...
