On Friday night Dr. Rick Hodes, though an orthodox Jew, conducts his own "unorthodox" version of a Sabbath eve dinner for his multi-denominational house gang, combining a mix of tradtional Jewish blessings on the children, for the sick, and on the Challah bread with a friendship circle that holds hands and sings "If i had a hammer".
