[SSSS] +Chillius03 Hey mate, this is clearly fake. If you really got this on VHS, I feel sorry for you. Besides many inconsistencies with beta, there are many other things like black overscan, odd crossfade on left/right, VHS filter only applied to game it self, and not side overscans (which are usualy not emulated), and it actually crossfades just like the game footage. You can hear keyboard presses in background, and there's wierd sound on 0:36. Also, as D.A. Garden said, there's many wierd thing in level design. And thing you can't argue: in your other video /watch?v=QisPpBq2boQ there's "Slot 0 Loaded" (or maybe slot 6?), on first 3 or so frames. So yeah...

Regarding copyright: Sega typically doesn't care about videos of Sonic games. For example, one of the videos in the sidebar on this page is a longplay of Sonic 1, which is basically the full game.
