This film was jointly created by The Lowry and Salford Young Carers Service. 'We're Not Different, We Just do Different Things'; was created by Salford Young Carers to raise awareness of how life as a young carer affects education and school life.
The film explores how being a young carer affects school life, through the story of a family living in Salford where Josh, aged 16, Lizzy, aged 14 and Ashleigh, aged 10, all care for Mum, who is played by Maxine Peake.
