LUDUM DARE 21 Keynote by McFunkypants

Can you program a video game in just one weekend? Ludum Dare game jams have been held every four months for nearly ten years. The community is huge, the people are friendly and the games are awesome! Each event is based on a theme that is voted on by everyone involved. The theme is revealed at the very last minute and once the competition begins everyone dives in to try to make a game based on that theme. Some of the games are buggy messes. Others are complete masterpieces. It can be a humbling and awe-inspiring experience to see what your fellow gamedevs can create in such a short amount of time. Even if you don't succeed, you will learn more in a single weekend than you did in the last month of regular programming. Most importantly, you will have a great time!

Join Ludum Dare today and try to make a game in 48hrs:
