Opening sydicated title sequence for SERGEANT PRESTON OF THE YUKON television program starring Richard Simmons. Based on the popular radio series, which began as CHALLENGE OF THE YUKON and ran from February 3, 1938 until June 9, 1955, SERGEANT PRESTON OF THE YUKON ran on CBS from 1955 until 1958, sponsored by, as it was on radio, the Quaker Oats Co. It is perhaps best remembered for both its 1955 premium offer of a deed to one-square inch of land in the Klondike, given away inside boxes of Quaker Puffed Rice and Puffed Wheat cereals, as well as Preston's its perennial closing line, "King, this case is closed."
