Filmed September 17, 2012. several incidences recorded on this video. At 8.15pm, a Brookfield security guard grabs an OWS Kitchen food tray during a confrontation outside the barricaded entrance into the park, with George Martinez, a NLG legal observer (in green hat), and others intervening in the incident.

At 10.03pm, two dozen security guards backed by several dozen cops in riot gear, and high-level police supervisors including 4-star NYPD Chief of Department Joe Esposito--seen on video with black gloves and cradling a nightstick--enter the park in a large show of force. The police exit the park after 15 minutes. One person confronts Assistant Chief Tom Purtell about the police scaring away people from the park with this show of force.

Off-camera, I've observed three agents of brookfield property discuss the situation stating "We have no legal right to close the park". I interpret this being the hypervigilant state of the security guards in looking for any perceived infraction of their arbitrary and manufactured park rules with NYPD there to arrest anybody for any perceived violation.

There were three arrests at 11.36pm for three people lying down in the park. Police soon entered the park with batons shoving people including myself. Additional footage of police (Payano badge #14570 and Perez badge #4180) shoving me with batons, and of NYC Councilman Jumaane Williams by We Are Change; and youtube user occupyair has a third camera angle as well
