Please note, this is purely an example of the most basic one point perspective. It does not teach any artist technique, nor does it complete the lesson, it is merely the starting point for complete beginners. You would not draw in this way or use rulers unless you were using this technique to fit a kitchen for example! The reason we teach this is because it is useful to have this knowledge when you are drawing buildings or objects free hand - to have these guidelines in your mind will help your artist versions to be right. For a much better lesson which includes a more in-depth demonstration use of marks and tonal values to bring your pictures to life, please contact us about our classes on www.theseasonsartclass.com
