Georgia Tech Associate Professor of Marketing, Koert Van Ittersum, talks about one of his MBA elective courses, Strategic Brand Management. Professor Van Ittersum discusses the objective of his course -- what branding is all about -- and how students apply and learn it. Strategic Brand Management allows students to relate knowledge from the course to cases and current events to make it a hands-on experience. MBAs are given the opportunity to work in groups to solve and present a branding case for a local company. Students leave this course with an in-depth understanding of what branding really is.
