The Egg Chair installation was based on the photography done by twin artists Christmas & Holmes for Sojournposse's One Thousand and One Nights show at The Situation Modern, London, UK. The projection, engineered by curator Graham Phenix, was also accompanied by a sound recording of the Latin poem "Odi et Amo", recited by Simon Varcoe.

Here, one-half of the Christmas & Holmes duo explains the concepts underlying the artwork to her tutor. The installation, the photography and the videos were largely inspired by the digital anthropology seminar at University College London on remediation, immediacy and transparency.
