My DIY "Oxyclean":

1 cup hot water
1/2 cup baking soda
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide

Combine ingredients in your soaking bucket and top off with cold water. If you use this homemade cleaner, you may want to skip the vinegar. If you do decide to add vinegar, add it AFTER you have topped off your bucket with the cold water. Mixing vinegar and baking soda can cause a foamy reaction. It wont hurt you or your cloth, but if the bucket is too full it could overflow.

I add 3 table spoons of vinegar AFTER I have soaked my pads for 10 minutes in the DIY oxyclean solution just to be safe. The bubbles produced do seem to clean it better, but just be aware that it may foam up!
