West Point Class of 2013 donned their rings for the first time on August 24, 2012. At the Ring Ceremony at Trophy Point the cadets received their rings from their TACs and lingered to take photos with family and friends before heading back to waiting plebes, who tried their hardest to delay the firsties with the "Ring Poop," a lengthy rhyme about West Point class rings. Also present were 10 ring donors, who had donated either their ring or a loved one's ring to be melted down to be used in all West Point class rings going forward.
