Talking about his show and Kapil Sharma, Ali says, "When we started Comedy Nights, it got immense appreciation. But we never knew that it would reach such dizzying heights. It's the result of sheer hard work. A big team has worked with passion to bring in the desired results. Kapil is a very dear friend of mine and his friendship made me accept the offer of playing the role of a woman. I learn a lot from him on the sets as comedy is his forte, his genre and nobody can beat him, ever."
