More patients of the novel coronavirus pneumonia were discharged from hospitals in many places of China on Tuesday after recovering from the disease.
A three-month-old baby girl was cured and discharged from the Haikou City People's Hospital. It is the first child patient who was discharged from hospital in south China's Hainan Province.
In east China's Anhui Province, 20 patients were discharged from hospital on Tuesday. So far, a total of 108 patients cured of the virus had been discharged from hospital upon recovery.
In Hanzhong City of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, the first coronavirus-infected patient recovered and left the Hanzhong Central Hospital. The city has seen no more infected patients for four consecutive days.
The first group of three patients was cured and discharged from local hospital in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Southwest China's Guizhou Province released four patients from Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital and three from General Mountain Hospital in Guiyang City, capital of Guizhou Province. So far, the province had cured 17 patients in total.
Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region reported eight more patients were discharged from hospital on Tuesday, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the region up to 22.
According to information released by Chinese health authorities on Wednesday, 2,015 new confirmed cases of the NCP infection and 97 deaths were reported on Tuesday from 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
