Steve Jackson's Sorcery! is an epic solo quest first published by Penguin Books (UK) within the 'Fighting Fantasy' series of adventure gamebooks. Sorcery! was originally published 1983-1999 by Penguin Books (UK). Published 2003-present by Wizard Books, a division of Icon Books (UK).

Fighting Fantasy, created by Steve Jackson & Ian Livingstone, has been the world's most successful series of interactive fantasy adventure gamebooks, published in 27 countries and 22 languages. Over 25 million copies have been sold worldwide.


Steve Jackson is a legendary UK games designer, co-founder with Ian Livingstone of Games Workshop and Fighting Fantasy. Jackson also co-founded Lionhead Studios with Peter Molyneux.

inkle is a Cambridge-based software and design company specialising in interactive stories, founded by former Sony Playstation designers Joseph Humfrey and Jon Ingold. Their previous apps include Frankenstein by Dave Morris and Poems by Heart for Penguin Classics, and their inklewriter website for creating interactive stories is used by schools, game designers and writers.
