We are anonymous. Recently, the for-profit company "Invisible Children, Inc." has begun a campaign entitled "KONY 2012". Some uninformed members of our group have mistakenly claimed that Anonymous supports this movement. We do not. While we support the goal of bringing a war criminal to justice, we do not approve of the approach the movement has taken, nor of the methods it currently uses. The movie which served as the foundation of this movement is grossly negligent in terms of the neutral and accurate depiction of the facts and backgrounds of Joseph Kony's activities, to the point of being factually inaccurate. The movie creates the illusion that Invisible Children is a charity. It is not. Invisible Children is a corporation that incites a feeling of empathy in millions of people across the globe in order to amass funds. While pretending to be a not-for-profit organisation like UNICEF or Caritas, only 30% of donations it receives are sent to Africa - and of that money, nobody knows how much of it actually serves to help and protect the victims of the ongoing conflicts in the region. In short, this organisation indirectly makes a profit out of people's suffering. This is heinous. Anonymous does not accept this. If the organisation does not become actually charitable, it will have to be eliminated as it is regarded as a threat to humanity.

Furthermore, the video completely ignores the fact that Invisible Children is collaborating with other war criminals. Notably, this includes the Ugandan Military. Uganda is currently a dictatorship. The Ugandan military is responsible for equally as many, if not more, war crimes as Joseph Kony. While they do not recruit children as far as we know, they have killed many, many more civilians in the past few years than Kony's movement has throughout its existence. Anonymous reminds the globe that Uganda is a country in which lynching homosexuals is inofficially encouraged by the government. Similarly, Invisible Children collaborates with the Sudan People's Liberation Army, an organisation that differs in no way from Kony's band of criminals in terms of brutality and war crime. Collaborating with these people, and especially supplying, funding and training its military, is exactly as insane and destructive as collaborating with Kony. Therefore, this cannot be the solution. An eye for an eye, and the whole world is blind.

Anonymous therefore calls for the destruction of Kony 2012 and Invisible Children. We acknowledge that Joseph Kony is a war criminal. He will be annihilated. His memory will be erased from history, his supporters will face destruction. However, Invisible Children are accessories to war criminals and must equally be destroyed. We cannot tolerate a corporation making profit from human suffering any more than we can tolerate a Christian fundamentalist causing it. Anonymous wants you to spread the truth about these people and announce that what they are doing is wrong, so that efforts can be concentrated on eliminating Kony, *without* assisting war criminals in the process. Stop Kony 2012. Commence Operation Visible Truth.

Knowledge is free.
We are Anonymous.
We are legion.
United as one.
Divided by zero.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Expect us.
