This is the original raw video of me competing 5 years ago at the Sri Mahendra Bhatt Music Competition, the largest music competition of it's kind in Rajasthan, India (in Jaipur to be exact). Please forgive the knarly audio and shakiness.

I was the first American to ever compete at the competition, and I ultimately won the gold medal from this performance.

For those of you who know about my documentary, "A Cricket in the Court of Akbar," this competition is what started it all. The film takes place two years later when I return to India to compete in the final round of the competition, the Sur Sadak tournament of champions.
