Chicago's Belgravia Group traces its lineage back more than 60 years, making it one of the longest-tenured and most successful real estate developers in the city.

Belgravia's founder, Buzz Ruttenberg received a JD degree from Northwestern University, and pursued graduate studies at London University, School of Economics. He has a nearly 50-year track record of building quality projects, ranging from infill townhomes to the $400 million two-tower condominium at 600 North Lake Shore Drive.

Belgravia is currently building new construction for sale and for rent, and pursuing other projects in the $5 to $25 million range.

I recently sat down with Buzz for a chat about his current projects and the prospects for Chicago's sale and rental markets. It was a happy and "very auspicious day" for Buzz, who was celebrating his daughter's 14th wedding anniversary.
