This video documents the results of an experiment performed to characterize the effects of different surface treatments on the amount pool balls throw.

It also looks at what causes cling (AKA skid or kick).

The surface treatments tested include static electricity, chalk marks, dish-washing liquid, Aramith ball cleaner, Acetone, rubbing alcohol, Silicone Spray, and sand paper.
