Reverend Melanie Lee Carey, the lead Pastor at the First United Methodist Church in Ypsilanti Michigan, shares the story of a young boy named Miguel from her congregation whose mother was arrested and deported to Guatemala in 2006, and who are still separated today.
Rev. Carey's New Year's Resolution is to support comprehensive immigration reform by calling her Congressman once a week, to ensure that no more families get broken up.
