watched this recently. total hollywood bullshit. very bland characters, no mars, no atmosphere nothing and kate beckinsale whatever her name is is a HORRIBLE villain. i'm sick of these shitty remakes.

This is most probably the worst remake in cinematic history . Colin Farrell just doesn't fit the role whatsoever . my personal opinion tom cruise would've totally fit the role. This movie felt more of a spin off of minority reports than total recall. IMO stick to the original and don't bother with this crap. fuckin atrocious

+Euronymous i agree. this film is just terrible. plus the wife being the main villain is just laughable especially compared to Ironside in the original

+Victor Vasconcellos I have to say that I liked the 1990 version better as a whole, but the 2012 movie had a better ending. I would say the 2012 version is interpreted in such a similar way to the 1990 version that I would say its fair to call it a remake.
