I am a former fundamentalist Christian, who discovered that what I was taught to believe without question from childhood, does not hold up to even the slightest skeptical scrutiny. In this video I describe how those who believe in the power of prayer are fooling themselves. Nothing fails like prayer.

Faith is not the path to truth. Learn to think for yourself, and question everything.

I would like to thank Carl Sagan, Michael Shermer, Richard Dawkins, Brian Dunning, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, The Skeptic's Guide to the Universe, Steve Novella, Jay Novella, Bob Novella, Evan Bernstein, Rebecca Watson, Matt Dillahunty, and Dan Barker, for enlightenment, education, and inspiration.
