'The Gorgon' (1964) is a Hammer film directed by Terence Fisher. It stars Peter Cushing, Sir Christopher Lee, Barbara Shelley and Richard Pasco.

The story centers on a creature from Greek mythology called the Gorgon: a snake-haired woman with a deadly gaze. Originally there were three Gorgons, they were sisters. The last of these sister is Megaera who terrorizes the small German town of Vandorf. Paul Heitz (Richard Pasco), who's brother and father have come to a mysterious end in the town, goes to investigate. In Vandorf he meets a beautiful young woman (Barbara Shelley) who hides a tragic secret. Soon Paul is confronted by the jealous Dr. Namaroff (Peter Cushing) as the mystery of the Gorgon unfolds. However Paul is not alone in this quest, he his helped by his mentor Prof. Karl Meister (Sir Christopher Lee).

The music that I used for this music video is the piece 'I Forget' from Danny Elfman's album Serenada Schizophrana. The original music from the film was composed by Hammer veteran James Bernard.

'The Gorgon' belongs to Columbia Pictures.
