สถานการณ์เอชไอวีในประเทศไทยมีความรุนแรง โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มชายรักชายในกรุงเทพฯ ที่ 1 ใน 3 ของกลุ่มมีความเสี่ยงในการติดเอชไอวีสูง การไปตรวจเชื้อและรักษาเอชไอวีที่มีอยู่จำนวนน้อย ทำให้กลุ่มชายรักชายมีการติดเชื้อสูงขึ้น โดยในระหว่างปี 2543 ถึง 2555 มีผู้ติดเชื้อเพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 21- 28 วีดิโอเรื่องนี้สร้างจากประสบการณ์จริงของคู่ชายรักชายที่มีเชื้อเอชไอวี ซึ่งต้องการชี้ให้เห็นว่า การรู้สถานะตัวเอง และการไปตรวจเชื้อมีความสำคัญอย่างไร

HIV has hit Thailand hard–especially among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Bangkok where 1/3 is at high-risk for HIV. Low use of the numerous HIV testing facilities and availment of treatment has contributed to the increase in HIV among MSM, from 21% to 28% between 2000 and 2012. This video, based on a true-to-life couple’s experience with HIV, shares why testing and early detection are important.
