SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. -- It's something right out of a medieval storybook. A castle has been listed for sale just outside of Sedro-Woolley, and it's modern living behind the stone walls.

A turret immediately distinguishes this unique home, along with high stone walls, guarded by -- what else? -- gargoyles.

It doesn't have a real moat, but the creek makes it feel like there one, before it tumbles down a 150-foot waterfall to a private swimming hole.

Marty Martin bought it almost 20 years ago and has lived in it with his wife for the past 10. Now, he's downsizing and ready to pass along his medieval mansion to another royal couple.

Inside, it's every bit a castle with stone walls throughout. And on the wooden door, is a huge dead-bolt, perhaps to keep invading neighbors out.

All for an asking price of just under $1.4 million.
