Happy Halloween Everyone! Ok, I know this is 2 days late, but I had to finish mixing it, the renders were not ready in time to finish it for Halloween as I had orriginally planned (I was wasting time on other projects). I really wanted to do something more elaborate for a Halloween video, and longer, but this will have to do this year.

Ok, a little background I guess. The 3D Meshes are provided by Daz3D, and Garee. All animation and effects by Mark A. Fares. Mixed and edited in Adobe After Effects. Initial setup was done in Poser 4 Pro-Pack, additional work was done to a lesser extent in Poser 7 Pro. The final render came off Poser 7 Pro with minimal raytrace settings (one of the things I would like to enhance). The cornfield is elements from Deadcorn and Deadcorn II by Garee. The Scarecrow is Pumpkin Jack. Initial layout and posing was done in a little over one and a half hours, and rendered bluescreen. The Moon is Glowmoon, also by Garee, and was rendered using the same motion track for the camera as the corn (orriginally added it to the cornfield setup, but could not get the background shader and atmosphere nodes to interact properly with it - nor could I get a good combination of scaling that would give the slower movement I desired). As this was being rushed, I did not take the time to alter the moon render as I wanted. The foreground fog was compiled in After Effects using techniques covered in a smokescreen tutorial at VideoCopilot, as well as a layer of clouds between the cornfield and the moon.

Sounds were added directly in AE, which did not lend to the editing and mixing I would have like, so they are somewhat rough.

I may redo this with enhanced detail, refined movement on the Scarecrows jump (an hour and a half setup was fairly rushed), and a completely re-done moon and sky background. I would like to add some flourishes such as fireflies moving amongst the corn as well if I redo it, and a longer lead in sequence showing a country road and an old barn.
