Other Flash trivia that didn't make it into the video:

- Jay Garrick first appeared in Flash Comics #1 (January 1940) and was created by Gardner Fox and

Harry Lampert

- Barry Allen first appeared in Showcase #4 (October 1956) and was created by Robert Kanigher, John

Broome, and Carmine Infantino

- Wally West first appeared as Kid Flash in The Flash #110 (December 1959) and as The Flash in

Crisis of Infinite Earths #12 (March 1986) and was created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino

- Bart Allen first appeared as Impulse in Flash #92 (July 1994) and as The Flash in The Flash: The

Fastest Man Alive #1 (May 2006) and was created by Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo

- Jesse Chambers is mentioned in this video, but we neglected to get into the fact that she is the

daughter of Johnny Quick and was briefly the Flash as well in the main continuity.

- Barry Allen is largely considered the first Silver Age superhero, while Jay Garrick has become one of

the most iconic Golden Age heroes.

- Several other future versions of the Flash exist, as well as a Bizarro version of the hero that were not
