Showing the effect on placing a pair of polarized sunglasses over the iPhone 4's camera. (You'll get the same effect with any CMOS sensor). This effectively lowers the required shutter speed to acheive proper exposure. Which in turn allows frame to frame motion blur.
Any pair of sunglasses will work, but make sure you hold it right up against the phone to reduce refraction. The best thing you could do is make a small neutral density filter for the lense. But this method works in a pinch.
