Morton - Soft Water is Better Water
HOW DOES A WATER SOFTENER WORK? Simple chemistry makes water softening possible. A water softener contains resin beads, which hold charged ions. When hard water passes through the softener, calcium and magnesium ions in the water are attracted to the charged resin beads. This results in the removal of calcium and magnesium ions from the water, turning the hard water in your home into soft water.
