Part 2 of the torrential downpour with more flooded roads, vehicles, and buildings.

Since dawn of 6/9/2012 the sky has unleashed a torrential downpour upon the Pensacola Bay Area. The area, by 1pm CDT, had amassed about 12-15 inches of rain. There was major flooding around the area, and lots of road blocks preventing others from attempting to pass through... but judging from the amount of stuck/stranded automobiles, I would say that nobody pays the road blocks much attention.

Many homes were without power, but the water and flooding was worse than anything.

The only time I have seen a comparable amount of rain was during Hurricane Dennis about 6 years ago, but this even far exceeds that. At time of upload (1pm 6/10/12) the rain still continues to fall and the flooding persists.

This rain event is tremendous, I am thankful I live in a high spot here in Pensacola, FL!
