REPORT 1: CATHOLIC EPIPHANY AND ORTHODOX CHRISTMAS Catholic epiphany and Orthodox Christmas. Two intense days on January 5 and 6 in Bethlehem which, two weeks after Christmas, became animated again with people, celebrations, and faith.
REPORT 2: COPTIC GRIEF The grief of the Copts and their mourning with other Christians in Jerusalem in prayers for the victims of the attack in the Egyptian city of Alexandra. "But this event" - said the Coptic Archbishop of Jerusalem --"strengthens the faith of Christians rather than weakens it."
REPORT 3: WORLD DAY OF PEACE "Our calling as Christians in the region cannot avoid embracing the Cross ... but we have to have the courage to follow Christ." So said the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem at a Mass, in the Cathedral of Jerusalem, in honour of the Mother of God. It was January 1st, the World Day of Peace....
REPORT 4: THE OPEN SUITCASE The open suitcase: A suitcase full of toys, which opens unexpectedly to give life to dancing. A link with a concert at the Efeta institute, for the hard-of-hearing, at Bethlehem.
REPORT 5: CARITAS BABY HOSPITAL A specialized clinic and two new facilities at the "School for Mothers" ... inaugurated at the Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem, the only pediatric hospital in the Palestinian Territories.
