Gentlemen,

This is a project I've been working on for a few months now. I think I've finally managed to figure out how to record decent footage (despite my previous failure with AVI clips, as long as they're short, they still work). I know it's been a while since I've released anything that had to do with TF2 gameplay, but thanks to this discovery, I'm back on track. I can, as long as my schedule permits me to, get into a regular release of videos (probably of the taunt killing kind).

I was going to wait until the engie had a taunt kill to make a montage like this, but I figured that wasn't necessary. I'll just throw him in once his taunt kill comes out. Besides, Robin said in an interview on January 18 (can't remember with who) that there would be at least one update that would land before the Engineer update. I predict the engie's update to land sometime in late February or early March, and thanks to finally achieving mastery of converting .dem to .avi, I'll be ready for it. :)

I'll occasionally release videos concerning human players as well, but they may or may not be taunt kill based. Once a get a capture card, you may see footage for other games that I have on the 360 and maybe I can get a frag video going. I dunno, we'll have to see. There's plenty of interesting things in my future. :)

On a less general note, the sniper taunt kill video against human players might still happen. I never said it WOULDN'T happen, even if a taunt kill video against bots might imply this. It's because I haven't had the time to record many taunt kills and against humans, to be honest, I've never had the time to play a game. And no, I don't idle. I tried to forward my ports to see if I can get my server out of LAN for the purpose of trying to earn unlocks in the game. Didn't work too well. :( I'll try again though.

Yes, they're bots. Honestly though, who cares? They're still taunt kills, and even though players might learn faster than bots, bots still aren't pushovers. Many times have I failed to pull off taunt kills against bots in almost the most inhuman of ways (try taunt camping with any class... demos will sometimes blow you to smithereens the second the door opens up). While sometimes you can exploit some bot stupidity to get off some taunt kills, it's the fact that they still behave somewhat like human players that makes them still "taunt killable". So, this video sets off to claim that, and to be honest I think this went better than expected. After all, it's somewhat original. Somewhat. :P

Anyways, enjoy. There's definitely more to come. :)
