It could happen to you!

The common mistake of believing that we are somehow excluded from the danger of potentially contracting HIV Aids is addressed in this jolting production by Jeremy Goodall of Feelgoodfilms. It's like having a bucket of cold water thrown on you unexpectedly, a very real, very scary reality check; one that L'Oreal and UNESCO are aiming at highlighting in their Hairdressers Against Aids Campaign.

Jeremy Goodall was faced with telling a story of a dream, a dream of just another ordinary man, a dream that wouldn't have a happy ending. However in the simplicity of the concept lay the challenges, showing the viewer an entire life span within a limited time frame, and another of distinguishing between dream and reality. The danger of losing the viewer had to be overcome and Jeremy splits reality and dream with two different visual styles. By using the man's eye as his window to his soul, he moves at different speeds through vibrant coloured dreams and the washed out, de saturated reality.

The result is a captivating production with a very powerful message delivered in a manner that will leave you strangely quiet.

Feelgoodfilms are proud to have been able to contribute to this campaign and are glad to play a part in reminding us that the reality is much more real than we think!
